I have a newer construction home that when we purchased it seven years ago had a pretty spiffy Honeywell Touch Screen thermostat. Being an engineer I dutifully programmed a full schedule for it, but my wife was always very leery of touching it.
It's an interesting, historically informative read but must be taken with a grain of salt and a pound of follow up research to verify or negate some of the quoted statements presented therein. Some quotes are incomplete and therefore misleading while others are taken out of context.
I received the one with the raised wrist pad as well. Not the item pictured at all, and the item can be had by other brand names for a few dollars less. So I am unhappy but not shipping it back, needed a mouse pad asap, so going to try and make it work.
This stuff is horrible. It absolutely did not remove my emblem goo! The direction says spray and let it absored for "seconds." However, I tried seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes and my emblem adhesive is still on.
