This stuff actually curbs my appetite!! There are no unpleasant side-effects like anxiety and feeling speedy. I can still sleep which is important to weight loss. The flavors are a bit weird tasting; however, they aren't awful so I have no aversion to using the product. The only thing that bothers me is that the flavor seems to infuse itself into any container I used to drink it. Now my BPA free water bottle always has a hint of the weird flavor and I'd rather it was flavor-free.
I find these 'Best Of' short story collections are always a worthwhile read, though my enjoyment varies depending on how my taste lines up with the editor's. I liked that this edition of The O. Henry Prize Stories was drawn from a wide variety of literary journals (the most recent Best American Short Stories, in contrast, drew one-fourth of its stories from The New Yorker).
I purchased the NONPAREIL Extendable Aluminum Trekking &..walking stick. I had problems with my knee giving way and had.to wear a brace. It is much better but this stick gives me the confidence to walk on uneven ground or provides support if I am required to stand for extended lengths of time.. The stick telescopes in and out making it easy to carry along in case of need. I feel confident with the walking stick and recommend it!
not as effective as I was hoping. Mom's nails grow quickly and are tough, so it takes forever to get one nail trimmed well, but it does help smooth the rough edges. I've been taking her to the local beauty school, where they do a simple manicure and actually cut her nails for $7, which to me is well worth it, though with her Alzheimer's, this probably won't work forever.
