I did NOT receive anything for free and I do not want anything for free. Matter of fact, I'm pretty tired of these biased reviews, which is why I have started to review things religiously, just to help out when I can.

I was really excited about maybe having found a less expensive alternative to the Vitamix for making really healthy smoothies with lots of fruit and vegies. Unfortunately, I think that product has yet to be made. This particular product, although good looking and nicely packaged, does not perform as advertised and has a severe engineering defect to boot. My major complaints:

I've been using Quicken for years for keeping track of my finances and have always been very pleased with all aspects until Quicken 2014. While Quicken 2014 still does a great job of keeping track of my finances it now gives me the added pleasure of trying to sell me some more Intuit products every time I open and close the application. The most annoying is the app for my smartphone that has a box "don't show me this again" that is checked each and every time the pop up comes up but does no good.

I hate being sick but when I am I like to know if I have a fever and how high it is so it is very important to have a good thermometer around. The Innovo Forehead and Ear Thermometer is exactly that. I have never been a big fan of thermometers that measure forehead temp but this one is accurate and works instantly with the push of a button. It also measures in ear temperature and it is equally as fast and accurate. It has a large LCD screen that lights up green when your temp is normal and red when you are running a fever. I just happen to have been sick this week because my grandson passed on strep throat to me and I could tell I had a fever. I used the in ear function and it quickly read at 101.8 degrees. So then I got out my regular mouth thermometer to see if they matched and it read 101.3. By this time I was out from under the covers so the small variation made perfect sense. The thermometer is also very attractive in appearance and has a base to keep it on when you aren't using it.

I’ve had the Home Guard Ultrasonic Pest Repeller plugged in for the past 3 weeks. I have not noticed reduction in the number of pest during this time, maybe it takes more time. The blue led makes a nice night light. Disclosure: I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

It came as expected and it is a great phone. It came unlocked as well so that I may use it with my family mobile service.
