My Sister and I are on opposite ends of the political spectrum. She's a supporter of "Ol' Hillary" and when I saw this I knew it'd be a terrific birthday present. When she opened her gift, she didn't make sense of things because I bought her some walnuts to go along with it. She opened them first, looked at me and said, "Okay….walnuts! How nice!" But when she opened up the nutcracker, her reaction to it was priceless….she absolutely LOVED it!! Everyone at our table laughed and laughed and laughed! Whether you support her or not, the Hillary Clinton Nutcracker is a true winner!
I have a somewhat complex tax situation as I have a "day job" as well as a side-business and my wife is self-employed with a business of her own. In the past I've paid a professional on the order of $1000 to prepare my taxes for me. The amount of preparation work (gathering and organizing records) was slightly more bother with TaxACT than with the professional, because the professional has a well organized list for me to work from. But the savings with TaxACT more than makes up for the slight extra bother. I don't know if the professional would have saved me any money but the amount of tax at the end was pretty close to what I've paid in past years. So I'm pretty sure the savings in avoided preparation fees more than covers any potential tax savings. And either way the initial gathering of information is a big PITA so the slight increase in effort with TaxACT isn't significant.
This is a fabulous upgrade I've waited for, for a long time. Used the PC versions (great too) but malware and viruses repeatedly crushed my PC's. They've set a Neat conversion of data from the PC to Mac version that worked well.
My husband needed this book to study for his ham radio Technician test. Although the book was excellent, the CD that comes with the book is what helped my husband ace the test. He got a 100% on his test thanks to the test preparation on the CD. My husband said it helped him out immensely. Better than reading the book, although that is also what my husband also did.
His word is bond and women and men should give him a read. He's not a sexist dick like most of the Pickup Artist community, but he does advocate for gendered roles. If you can't handle that, don't read the book. If you want greater insight on why these roles work the way they do, this guide is pretty comprehensive.
Well, seems you either like this book (anti-Trump), or you hate it (pro Trump). I found it odd in the second debate that Trump went out of his way to praise Russia again. Wasn't Ronald Reagan a Republican? Didn't Ronald Reagan play a hand in the downfall of the USSR? The book can get repetitive at times (I read the Kindle version, could use some editing), but I can't help wondering if Tsar Putin didn't just tell Trump, "Well you're probably not going to win, so why don't you just destroy the Republican party?"
