The directions say to use this product after a shower, after you've completely dried off, so I did just that. I thought for sure this was going tp be like icy hot. It's similar, but also so very different. It goes on and instantly feels cold but starts to heat up under the skin. Within 10 minutes your skin will feel pretty cold, like Alaska cold! After I had my kids (and gained some weight from them) I developed a lot of cellulite on my booty and upper thigh. I am trying this out to hopefully minimize the appearance of it, because I highly doubt it will remove it completely - as awesome as that would be, I doubt it! As far as for muscle pain relief it's great. I slept so well last night. I didn't even realize how tight my leg muscles have been until I used this because my body just instantly relaxed.
