I got these for my 87 year old grandmother who refuses to give up on taking care of her lawn and garden. This set of garden shears seems to be perfect for her. Because of her age, she needs a shear that is not only comfortable but sharp as well. That is exactly what these are for her. The springs are great, they bounce back everytime. For the simple lawn and garden tasks that she wants to do, this shear set is working just fine.
This book was more useful that the 2016 version though many scholarships are very specific if you aren't of the specific groups listed then won't be as useful/ Decent to start your search but not definititive
It's not just that this is no more than a thin leftist hit piece (and it is no more than that), it's that Ronson is a wonderful thinker, has a deeply inquisitive mind and is one of the best most entertaining investigative writers out there. But this comes across as a 15,000 word tweet written angrily after he just heard Trump is leading in the polls. Ronson's political bias is unchecked and he does little to explore the bizzarro Trumpian phenomenon. Love him or hate him, Trump's accent is a head scratcher and any ounce of journalistic objectivity tells us that it's due to more than delusion, racists white guys yelling racial epithets at rallies. I hope someday some documentarian works to dissect all this. But apparently Ronson has no interest. I expected this bias but I also expected more. Not worth $1.99. Glad I got it free via Prime.
These are a hard to find color. I receive more compliments on these sneakers than I ever have for any shoes I've ever owned. That said, I always buy sneakers, especially 'running' sneakers a half size up. The half size in these fits like a full size up. I regret purchasing them larger, but I'd already worn them when I fully realized how large they run. I gave four stars because I wish the fit were tighter. Otherwise they are brilliant! I have bursitis in my feet and these make it possible for me to walk all day without hobbling at night. I'd definitely buy another pair, just in a 10 and not a 10.5.
