  • Carol HuhRaySa - I want to sing from the mountaintops! (for PCOS)

My OBGYN actually recommended this product for me to treat mild PCOS. I am a 30 yr old female, currently not trying to conceive, but I also do not want to be on birth control. I had really long cycles around 36-39 days long, I would ovulate really late in the cycle around day 19 or 20. I have borderline high testosterone which was causing thinning hair, hair loss, acne, and facial hair. I am also taking other supplements, including biotin (hair loss) and saw palmetto (acne) to help with these other symptoms due to high testosterone. But I was AMAZED at what only 2 months of myo-inositol has done. I wouldn't have even known about it, if it weren't for my OBGYN's suggestion. After 2 months, I had a normal cycle. - 28 days long, ovulating on day 15. I couldn't believe it!!! I may switch over to Jarrow Formulas Inositol Powder to help cut down on the cost and see if I have the same effect. If you deal with PCOS and you want to regulate your cycles without using birth control consider trying out Pregnitude.

  • revlon - waste of money............

I just bought it yesterday and was so sadly surprised after opening the jar. It looked GROSS! I had to pierce the upper hard wax layer to reach the cream beneath. I didn't like the texture at all. Its like spreading a bad quality old (kept in open for sometime) toothpaste on your face. And it just sits there with a white cast without getting absorbed. No moisturizing qualities for my dry skin at all. I never used the original formula but this new one is YUCK!

This stuff seems to do its job but I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask since I'm not really good at styling my hair so not sure if I use it optimally but I do like putting it in and think it's helpful. My complaint is that I put it in Subscribe and Save and in a month it dropped out. What's the point of spending so much time picking product/price/quantity combos for continuous purchases only for them to reneg?

  • Linda V - Not for me...

After reading all the reviews I decided to try it.. I was hoping to like it but I really can't stand the taste. If you are used to whey protein this tastes totally different and leaves a bad after taste in your mouth.. Will be switching back to whey protein.. My advice is to try it some where else before you buy it..

  • jc888 - pretty good

bag is pretty good. wished it had a few more pockets... but the weight is light and the material feels strong.

  • Christopher A. Jones - Not as bad as I thought it would be

Real luthiers use powdered hide glue. This is not really anything like that. I do like the fact that you don't have to heat it, you can break the bond fairly easily (it 'cracks' nicely), and it has a long drying time. This is great for minor DIY guitar repairs, and although it's a little messy it is fairly easy to remove and doesn't stain.
