I've had a microwave in my house since I was a child... I never knew how to use it though. It was purely just decorative piece to impress the ladies and business partners who may come over for dinner. I mean really, who know's how to use a microwave? Ever since reading Ms. Allen's book, my microwave has gone from a conversation piece to a piece of functional furniture! The next time I'm trying to woo a lady or my boss, I'll just make them Sonia's three bean guacamole dip, and I'm confident I'll soon be microwaving for two on a middle manager's salary.
I'm not entirely sure just how much these products protect hair from hot iron damage. My daughter and I both use this product. She straightens her hair 2-4 times a week. I straighten mine maybe once every two months. My hair is very soft and silky and using this product definitely helps with that... I definitely notice a difference, but with my daughter's hair, it seems merely a detangler that smells amazing. I'm sure it may help a little, but not enough protection from heat.
I purchased this item to help rid myself of large quantities of receipts, business cards, clippings, and documents. Initial installation was easy and I was happily scanning items in. The OCR works pretty well, and I was happy that I could scan items in and export them later if I needed to.
After reading the myriad of reviews about this antenna all over the web, it pretty much leaves you up to deciding on your own...so i figured I'd take a chance and see what happened. I live in the Denver metro area so radio signal strength is very good wherever I spend my time (I haven't tried up in the mountains yet, but Satellite is the only true answer there). For the folks that are living out in rural areas, or even just moderately distanced from the radio towers, i would expect the Stubby to be much less effective as many have already pointed out...thats just simple physics. Like I said, living close to the metro area, the antenna is working great, i'm getting very clear signal and all the HD stations tune in so no loss of functionality there. The Stubby itself looks good, is constructed well, fit was spot on (as it should since its not a universal fit accessory). I am using this on my '13 Toyota 4Runner and its a much improved look over the stock 2ft. antenna.
I bought this because all of my older AmazonBasics cables did not support HDMI 2.0. Basically if you want to watch 4K content this is a must have. Now if you have some older HDMI cables don't run out and buy all new cables. My recommendation is to just buy new cables for the ones your are connecting directly into the player of 4K content. HDMI 1.0 is fine for all other devices at the moment. I hope this is helpful.
I have been a Pink Floyd fan for many years, and yet I've never purchased this album - in any format - until recently. I own most of their CD's, and finally decided to buy this one, and I'm so glad that I did. Some of these songs are radio staples, and some of them are more obscure, but I like the way these songs flow together - like all Pink Floyd albums. I think what finally got me to buy it was being able to listen to "Comfortably Numb" whenever I wanted to! David Gilmore's guitar solo at the end of that song is one of the greatest moments in all of Rock Music History. I still get goose bumps listening to it.
