These garden shears are just wonderful. These are a decent little set of pruning shears. They are VERY sharp and cut cleanly without crushing the branches. I like the smaller one with the pointed tip. It makes it easier to do more precise trimming of smaller plants. I used it on my miniature roses, which were in dire need of some cleaning up. These things slipped right in between all the close branches very easily. The pointed shears have a leather strap to lock it closed. I suspect that may not last a long time. The other has a mechanism that pivots. It works well and is easy to turn. Did I mention that these things are sharp? Use care that you don't slide a finger across the cutting surface of those blades! Great product.
This book will change the way you look at the world! There is so much that you suspected or feared that is happening. Cathy makes the topic of mathematical models easy to understand. She also makes the stakes clear (They are very very high.... Especially if you are poor)
This is our second experience with SPLAT (Purchased from Walmart and Rite Aide not Amazon) The first time we purchased the Blue Envy (walmart) to dye the UNDERSIDE of my daughter's hair. It turned aqua/teal very uneven, very light.... I assumed it was because we did not use enough dye on her hair (it's thick mid-back length) she has ash blonde hair but we bleached it to get optimal results.
I read the reviews and decided to buy this because I thought I could make it work. I registered the checks, I registered by bank account and verified it, even after doing all that this is worthless, I set up to print from Quickbooks and all I get is errors and the link which Versacheck gives you on the error screen for technical support does not work, Even their own link to help you does not work with that need I say more? DO NOT BUY, They take your personal bank information, you have to verify your account through the internet every time you need to print a check so if you have no internet this is useless. They sell you the software, after that if you do not buy their checks this is useless, so are they a software company or paper shop? They need to make up their mind.
As I was reading it about a year ago, I kept wishing I had read it in high school. I would probably have enjoyed my relationships a lot more and likely avoided the needless heartache and mental anguish that comes along with being a "nice guy" who has always responded to fit tests and tantrums by working even harder to please. I feel it has benefited both myself and my wife. I definitely have an easier time dealing with the very confusing and frustrating behavior that can come out, and am no longer afraid to call out inappropriate behavior. I found this book after coming across the author's blog and wanted to know more about fit tests. That aspect alone is worth the read. It's easy to read (I couldn't stop) and very entertaining. I will share this book with my son when he's old enough to benefit from it.
