I've had this unit for just about 2 years. It's critical that you have a good installer. As example my installer setup a recirculation line but left the settings to internal, so line was never used. Needs to be set to external if your using seperate recirc line.
I am surprised how well this shaves legs! I bought it thinking I could "touch up" before boating. I hate having freshly shaved legs in contact with salt water, so I assumed this would make them look good but not be as close a shave. Wrong! This is pretty darn close. Only saving grace is that it doesn't seem to shave the skin like a traditional razor does.
I started using Kastking tackle gear a few years ago, and since that time this company has continued to surprise me with great innovations at a very reasonable price. The Kastking Spartacus reel is no different. The fact that the reel has 11+1 shielded stainless ball bearings, and a carbon fiber drag system for less than $50 is pretty amazing in itself. As a result, the reel functions ridiculously smoothly. Dual centrifugal and magnetic brakes makes it very easy to dial in for extended casting distance without backlashes. I especially like the strong drag system with a star drag that give off audible clicks as you increase or decrease drag pressure. (Note: always back off on the star drag when the reel is not in use, this will much extend the life of the drag system.) The handle is very comfortable, and with foam grips, will come in very handy for long days on the water casting. 6.3-1 gear ratio is perfect for most casting situations in my opinion. The reel simply looks very cool with it color scheme, and the CNC machined aluminum frame seems to have very tight tolerances. I use this reel in saltwater for school stripers, porgies, sea bass, and fluke. Spooled with 12-pound braided line, and a properly set drag, this reel has landed fish to over 10-pounds for me. You can pay more for a reel with similar features, but why would you?
It seems awesome, and I'm trying to figure it out. I recommend it to anyone. The recipes seems like they are very good
