I was looking for an RC vehicle to race with my brother-in-laws who owns Traxxas Rustler. While the Rustler is certainly a nice vehicle and has a proven track record for durability, I recently purchased the Arrma Vorteks BLX from Tower Hobbies for $180 and I couldn't be happier. (The price of this kit on Amazon is ridiculously over-priced.) Although this truck can still be purchased for around $200 at the time this review was written, the normal prices is closer to $300. As best I can tell, the Vorteks BLX is about the equivalent of the Traxxas Rustler VXL, a $350 truck.

I love Timbuk2, but not this model year. I don't like the way the straps are under the flap because it makes it too difficult to easily operate. I also think the water bottle spots are pointless. I couldn't fir any bottle or coffe cup. The one thing I did like was the padding on the strap, that was an improvement.

Best mattress ever - and I've had many over the last ten years! Since my neck surgery in 2012, I haven't been able to get a decent nights sleep.

Beth Macy has done it again. Just as in FACTORY MAN, she has provided remarkable research and excellent writing to give us another chapter in Southern history that needs to be told. Our country is in grave danger of regressing to the behavior exposed in TRUEVINE, especially in the areas of racism and mistreatment of those who are different from most of us. We need voices bravely "crying in the wilderness," and Beth is a strong advocate. I must say, too, that the book is highly entertaining. The anecdotes that give us entry to the world of the traveling circus are fascinating. I am anxiously anticipating Beth Macy's next book.
